Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
This page explains what personal information I collect on join.aleccuenca.com, why I collect it, and what you can do about it. I follow the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
Who I am
These pages are run by me, Alec Cuenca. I decide how your information is used, and I’m the person to contact about it, including as data protection officer.
Email: aleccuenca@gmail.com
What I collect
When you sign up
- Your first name and email address.
- Your answer to “Do you already have a business?”
- The topics you tick (how to launch a business using AI, THE 24/7 EDITOR course, a community), and whether you joined the waitlist.
- The date you signed up, and that you agreed to get emails from me.
When you get my emails
Kit, the service that sends my emails, records whether you open them and which links you click.
In your own browser
These pages save your first name, email, and waitlist status in your browser’s storage, so the demo page can offer a one-tap waitlist button. It stays on your device and isn’t sent to me from there. You can remove it anytime by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.
Basic technical information
Like any website, the services that deliver these pages (hosting, Google Fonts, and YouTube) receive basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type.
I don’t use analytics or advertising trackers on these pages.
Why I use it
- To send you the free demo and the “try it tonight” guide.
- To send you updates about THE 24/7 EDITOR, including when the course opens.
- To send you updates on the other topics you ticked.
- To see, in overall numbers, what people want me to make next.
I rely on your consent, which you give when you tick the box on the signup form or join the waitlist. You can withdraw it anytime by clicking “unsubscribe” in any of my emails.
Who else handles it
I don’t sell your information or share it with advertisers. I use these services to run the pages and the emails, and each one only gets what it needs to do its job:
- Kit (kit.com) stores your details and sends my emails.
- YouTube (Google) plays the demo video. It’s embedded in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, but YouTube may store information on your device once you press play.
- Google Fonts provides the lettering on these pages.
- Netlify hosts these pages.
These companies may store information outside the Philippines, including in the United States.
How long I keep it
I keep your details while you’re subscribed. If you unsubscribe, I stop emailing you, and Kit keeps a note of the unsubscribe so you aren’t emailed again by mistake. If you ask me to delete your details, I’ll do it within 30 days.
How I protect it
Only I have access to the subscriber list, and I use established services to store it. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, I’ll tell you and the National Privacy Commission, as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:
- be told how your information is used
- see the information I have about you
- correct it if it’s wrong
- object to its use, or withdraw your consent
- have it deleted or blocked
- get a copy in a common file format
- be compensated if your information is misused
- file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph
To use any of these, email me at aleccuenca@gmail.com.
Children
These pages are for adults. If you’re under 18, please don’t sign up.
Changes
If I change this policy, I’ll update the date at the top. If it’s a big change, I’ll let subscribers know by email.
